Hey everyone!! Today’s post (in case you couldn’t guess) is about Jesus!!

So, Jesus. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. What does he mean to you? Is he just a story? Or is he some cool guy from long ago that did impossible things?? Or is he just a little guy that somehow lives inside your heart?

Sometimes we overlook him. Like, we know he’s there and all, but do we really think about him?

I mean, JesusΒ died for us!Β Think about that for a sec, he died. Like, gone.

So as Thanksgiving comes around (eek! tomorrow!!), make sure that you’re not just thankful for clothes, food, family, etc (though those are all amazing!!), but also for Jesus. That he died for us. That he gives us the way to heaven.

Now for some verses!! πŸ˜‰

John 14:6 – Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Proverbs 8: 35-36 –Β For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.Β But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

1 Timothy 2:5 – For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

And there we go, guys! A little random, but eh!! (and this may have been a more fitting post for Easter instead of the night before Thanksgiving…)

  1. Yes! Great post! Jesus is truly someone to be thankful for. I just have to add one thing. πŸ™‚
You say that Jesus didn’t even know that he would rise from the dead. This is not true, because in Matthew 16:21(ESV), it says “From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.” Ah, see there, it is saying that Jesus explained to people that he would suffer and even be killed, but that he would be resurrected on the third day! Jesus knew that he would be raised again, but he also knew that he would suffer and die. I think knowing this made it even harder for Him, because imagine knowing that you would suffer as much as He did? Imagine knowing that you would die as He did? Yet, even knowing these things, he still chose to do so for us although we did not deserve it at all. Now, that is what I call unchangeable, unbreakable, forever-lasting love. πŸ˜‰
I do think that your post was a very great one, and I know you had a very good message to share!! Just thought I’d let you know about that one sentence. πŸ™‚
